Certain places or situations associated with a panic attack, are likely to be avoided by the sufferer in case of a reocurring attack. It’s difficult to not worry about having another attack, since a future one is certain.

Panic and anxiety symptoms can develop from both childhood and adulthood. Causes of these disorders include environmental stressors and changes in the brain. Additionally they can be inherited from birth.

Frequent panic attacks are highly debilitating for a sufferer. Fortunately panic and anxiety disorders can be treated. Treatments include; medication, cognitive behavioral therapy and hypnosis. Such treatments can often reduce symptoms dramatically.
